Frequently asked questions
Does the Notify Me block need to be in an exact location?
It works anywhere in the main product section. Between Buy buttons and Description is recommended because shoppers see the replacement action where they expect to purchase.
Why does setup still say the block is not detected?
Theme-editor previews do not count. Save the theme and visit a live storefront product page, then reload BackInStockBro.
Will it replace Add to cart?
When enabled in the block settings, BackInStockBro hides the product form’s Add to cart button only for the selected unavailable variant and restores it for available variants.
Does it support products with more than 250 variants?
Yes. Both storefront blocks use Shopify option-value data and avoid enumerating a truncated variant collection.
Where are release notes?
